+From Section 2.3.3.3 to Section 2.3.3.6: Regulations on Fire Resistance Ratings.
+ Section 4.12: When installing technical pipelines and cables passing through structural components such as walls, floors, and partitions, the interface between the pipes, cables, and these structures must be properly sealed or treated to prevent a reduction in the fire protection performance of the structure.
+ Section 4.18: Openings in fire-resistant components must be sealed in the event of a fire.
+ Section 4.22 (Note 2): Openings for water pipes in fire-resistant components must be treated in accordance with the provisions of Section 4.12.
+ Section 4.32: Fire spread must be prevented horizontally on the exterior of the building.
+Section A.2.24.2: The fire resistance rating of doors, access panels, and sealing plates for openings in building components requiring fire resistance, as specified in Table A.1, must not be lower than EI 30 (EIW 30) when used in structures with an EI 60 (EIW 60) rating, and must not be lower than EI 60 (EIW 60) in other cases.
+ Section A.2.28.4: Electrical distribution cabinets on floors and electrical panels in apartments must be equipped with protective shut-off devices. The structural components of these cabinets must prevent the spread of fire beyond the cabinet’s enclosure.
+Section A.2.28.5: At locations where cables and wiring pass through building components that require fire resistance, the sealing of these penetrations must have a fire resistance rating not lower than the fire resistance rating of the structures they pass through.
These regulations help optimize firefighting response times. To comply with these standards, firestop materials and measures must be tested according to UL 1479:2015 and evaluated against criteria for integrity (E) and insulation (I) as per TCVN 9311-1:2012 or equivalent standards.
